Located in the bay of the Mont Saint-Michel, the abbey was built
on a rock of granite between the VIIIth and the XIIIth century.
It became one of the most important pilgrimage destinations during
the Middle Ages and is now considered as one of the wonders of France.
Your Guide will tour you through the abbey, and will explain how
the monks used to live in this austere atmosphere. If you wish,
you can also enjoy the famous omelette of "la Mère Poulard"
for lunch. As an option to this day trip, you can ride the TGV from
Montparnasse station to Rennes and meet your Driver Guide at the
train station.
